I had this for ages, it finally went away after I had put some Praxis points into the 'Mark enemies' aug, whatever it's called. I've just installed Deus Ex Human Revolution and i rl want to get into the Deus Ex universe so are the older games worth playing? Is your system running tessellation or physics on the CPU instead of the GPU, or does the game just run it heavily on the CPU instead of GPU for some reason? In the meantime, don't hesitate to try a good old reboot. Couldn't turn it off, played for ten minutes, crashed. It plays well, looks pretty good, has a decent enough story and some nice characters, and well designed levels with a lot of ways to approach them. Does not work with the GameStop (Impulse) version of Deus Ex.
